O’Reilly Automotive, Inc. Names Leadership Succession

Springfield, Mo. — O’Reilly Automotive, Inc., a leading retailer in the automotive aftermarket industry, has completed its previously announced leadership succession plan. Greg Henslee, who has served as the company’s chief executive officer (CEO) since February of 2005, was elected to serve as a director on the company’s board of directors and was subsequently appointed by the board to serve as executive vice chairman. New Sheetz Operations Support Center Opens

Philadelphia — On April 19, 2018, convenience store giant Sheetz, Inc. opened its new operations support center in Claysburg, Pa. Designed by CDI Studio One, the architecture division of L.R. Walmart Unveils Plans for Expanding EV Charging Stations and Doubling U.S. Wind and Solar Energy Use

Bentonville, Ark. — On April 18, 2018, Walmart announced that suppliers have reported reducing more than 20 million metric tons (MMT) of greenhouse gas emissions in the global value chain, as part of the company’s Project Gigaton initiative. Walmart launched Project Gigaton last April, seeking to work with suppliers to reduce emissions from the company’s value chain by a gigaton, or one billion metric tons, by 2030. The emissions reduction progress was shared at Walmart’s annual Sustainability Milestone Summit, where expanded commitments on solar and wind power, as well as electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, were also discussed.

Art Van Furniture Names President and CEO
